Sunshine Company Ltd. was established on 27 July 1991 by Mr. Alan Liu, the Taiwanese Business man. The registered capital was 60 million baht. We have head office in Pathumthani province and packing house located in Chanthaburi, the land of tropical fruit. In the first year, we exported fresh fruit as durian, mangosteen, coconut, rambutan, orange, pomelo to many countries. Durian was our top seller. In year 1998 Company organized company’s website; www.sunshine.co.th for the alternative channel to contact with customer around the world. In the meantime, we built 14,400 square meter packing house, which located in Chantaburi area to support customer’s demand. In Year 1998 Company built Air Blast room and installed Shock Freeze Air Blast System, where the temperature would be minus 45 Celsius. In the same year, we built 3 more cold storages room to store frozen products which can carry 200 tons per room. Consequently, our company can continue supply frozen fruit; frozen whole durian, frozen durian meat, frozen whole mangosteen, frozen mango meat and frozen whole rambutan. Frozen whole durian is our major export fruit. In the same year, company was certified by ISO9001:2000 for the best management system and we continuing improve our system by installed ERP software SAP program for more efficient in management system. In Year 2002 We imported and installed the first Vacuum Freeze Drying Machine in our packing house. The purpose of using vacuum freeze dried machine is to develop the new products to support demand of customer. Durian is the first fruit that produced by vacuum freeze drying machine foreigners can bring freeze dried durian back to their country much more convenience than fresh durian as fresh durian is prohibited to bring on board. In Year 2004 – present Regarding the world market is growing every day, consequently Sunshine expanded packing house to support the increasing demand of customers. We built up 2 more cold storage rooms and installed IQF machine to produce more frozen fruit and add 2 new Vacuum freeze dried machine to fulfill the need of customer in the market. Today, we have 7 freeze dried fruits; durian, mangos teen, mango, rambutan, jackfruit, banana and pineapple. Even we produce more fruits; Durian is still our main product.
