Amounts of dissolved oxygen in various natural body of waters very differently. This due to transferring of natural oxygen over the water surface during air movement or from the photosynthesis of under-water flora. The living organisms in the water will utilize oxygen to sustain their lives as well as growth. By nature the ratio of oxygen producing and consuming of aquatic organisms is usually in balance. In case we want to raise aquatic species at the density higher than normal.
We need to increase oxygen to the level needed by them. When more oxygen is needed. We have to know the most efficient method in application. Naturally oxygen exist in the air and transfer to the surface of the water during air movement. Therefore the oxygen concentration is higher at the water surface than that went deeper, and the lowest is at the bottom. Hence increasing the oxygen at the bottom of the water is more efficient than doing at the water surface. LAMBDA Air Jet is the lastest technology for transferring oxygen into the water. By the application of moving the propeller at high speed approximately 3,000 rpm. the water will be pushed forward at high velocity creating a vacuum at the end of the shaft. The air is then drawn through a hollow shaft and broken into the form of tiny air bubbles penetrated deeper into the water.
These bubles will remain in water longer , allowing oxygen to freely transfer into the water than those produced by other methods. The efficiency obtained by this novel technique is as high as 15% or equivalent to 1.5 kg. per horsepower per hour. LAMBDA Air Jet is fabricated with specially designed motor that will bear most of the load along the axis instead of other standard motors which were designed to bear the load radically. In addition, the wire used in this motor is insulated with Class F insulator which can withstand the temperature as high as 140 degree celcius. The housing body, propeller and other accessories are made of stainless steel or special plastics with high resistance to sea water corrosion and to water with acidity or alkalinity.
The float is made of polyethylene filled with polyurethane foam. The specifications of LAMBDA Air Jet mentioned above make it easy to use, maintain and last longer. LAMBDA Air Jet is also used in waste water treatment, in the ditches, ponds, lakes and other water resources in order to keep biological activity in balance. This will help restore water quality and improve the environment around us.
