6. Impact Absorbability
General electronic Brake/Clutch transmits momentary torque at time of power feeding that impacts the machine. However, Powder Brake/Clutch induce slip generation to transmit smooth power to the machine so that the machine would not be overloaded.

When current flows in the coil, the powder is connected in iron chain form depending on the magneticflux. At this time, the torque is transmitted by the interconnection force in the powder and friction of moving surface.

1. Since Clutch and Brake operates by powder, be sure to prevent foreign material such as humidity and oil inside.

2. Prevent any external impacts since the Brake and Clutch is operating in concentricity. (Tir is 0.15)

3. Prevent any moisture (water) inside yoke.

4. As axis diameter and inner diameter tolerance produced by our company is h6 under Ø48, and m6 error above Ø55, adjust to axis diameter and inner-diameter.

5. Be sure to adjust angles for Clutch, Brake shaft and bracket within Tir 0.15.

6. The tolerance of concentricity between shafts should be within Tir 0.15.

7. Balance the machine. Or you should have hunting (malfunction).

1. Fill up the powder when you have malfunction due to the abrasion of Power Brake/Clutch powder.

2. In case of Powder Brake/Clutch, hunting (malfunction) can happen due to bearing wear-out. Be sure to check the bearings on regular basis.

3. Be sure to maintain surrounding temperature of Powder Brake/Clutch within 85℃.

4. Do not extend the lead wire excessively.

5. You need to feed 1.2 times of rated amount for normal operation when you use the equipment over 2 years.
