Model FP
 A well sludge filter press as INOX Filter Press will properly achieve minimizing sludgy effluent volume in the significant number of industries. Its filtering & pressing process can effectively thicken and soidify all types of sludge to become sludge cake in its Filter elements. Under high pressure dewatering is achieved by separating the water from the sludge. Normally, the sludge cake has % dryness of arround 25%-90% depending on the types of sludge and pressing systems. Additionally, the cake volume can be suitably varied by several Filter Press sizes from approximately 10 liters up to 10,000 liters per batch. INOX Filter Press offers two types of pressing units as either single acting or double acting. Functional options such as Plate Shifter, Cake Washing, Air Blowing, Cake Squeezing and Cloth Washing will be offered as special requirements 
Operation
INOX Filter Press's operation is mainly divided into two actions; single action and double action. The single Action uses single acting hydraulic cylinder to close&press a number of filter chamber plates with filtering clothes to implement dewatering and sludge pressing. Then its back motion will be motorizingly or manyally used for opening the filter chamber plates in order to take out sludge cake.
The double action consists of a double acting hydraulic cylinder and associated control swiches for closing and opening the filter chamber plates. In special cases, automatic plate shifter will be offered to implement the best operation. After that dewatering process will be implemented. These actions can effectively operate either manually
or automaticcally by using associated switch and their control units.

Filter elements used in filter presses can range from simple plates and
frames to membrane elements or chamber/membrane mixed packs. Moden design of bibs contribute to better Filtrate flow and laster drainage through the filtrate outlets

Controlling
INOX Filter Presses have applied two main operations in controlling. Normally, most Filter Presses will use the single Hydralic Acting in operation, and in some casses for big Filter Presses the Double Acting operation may be required and automatic plate shifter is an option. The Single Acting operation will contain three main steps in controlling. First is to press the Filter Plates either electrically or mechanically by the motorized hydraulic unit or manual hand wheel unit. The plates will normally be pressed up to about 300-450 bars before feeding the conditioned sludge. Next the sludge and polymer will fed together for making conditoned sludge into the Filter Elements and keep the sludge in approx. 7 bar or 16 bar concition. The last step sludge cake will then be taken out manually or electrically for collecting. Regrading the Double Acting, controlling will be more complicated for special requirements.
