Woven by the Tai Muang, a small ethnic group in Laos, these pieces showcase an unusual and difficult technique of 6 pedal weaving. Ock Pop Tok has worked with these talented weavers to produce fabrics for bags, purses, and scarves.  Traditionally these fabrics are woven in narrow lengths that are used in ceremonies for rites of passage.  The colours are reflective of these bright and colourful people, who wear striking skirts with pink and purple naga motifs. These modern and functional bags come in 3 sizes and in various colours with high quality leather and contrasting silk lining. They are truly wearable pieces of craft heritage.
